Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026 — Private Beta v1.1

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They serve various purposes, from keeping you logged in to tracking browsing behavior.

2. Our Cookie Usage

Zeus Terminal uses exactly one cookie.

It is strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies.

3. Cookie Details

Name Type Purpose Attributes
zeus_token Strictly necessary Stores your encrypted session token to keep you authenticated after login. Without this cookie, you cannot access the platform. httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax

4. Local Storage & Similar Technologies

In addition to the single authentication cookie above, Zeus Terminal stores a small amount of user-interface state in your browser's localStorage. These entries are stored exclusively on your device, are never transmitted to any server, and are not used for tracking, profiling, or analytics. They include:

You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Doing so will reset your UI preferences but will not log you out unless you also clear cookies.

5. What We Do NOT Use

6. Why No Consent Banner

Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies — those essential for a service explicitly requested by the user (such as authentication) — are exempt from consent requirements. Since our only cookie falls into this category, no cookie consent banner is required or displayed.

7. Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the zeus_token cookie will prevent you from logging into Zeus Terminal.

8. Changes

If we ever introduce additional cookies (for example, for analytics or preferences), this policy will be updated accordingly and consent will be obtained where required by law.
